Weekly Reflection — Our First Full Year

Looking back on our first full year of programming, the impact is undeniable. We hosted afterschool sessions focused on art therapy and beauty education, held peer-judged nail design contests, and created space for students to explore both technical skills and emotional expression.

One of the most powerful moments came during a trust-building session in our art therapy series. Students discussed what it means to feel safe, and how that translates into creativity. By the end of the session, walls had come down and ideas began to flourish.

We’re proud of what we built—and even prouder of how students showed up for themselves and each other. The future, quite literally, is theirs.
